WHO WE ARE
We are a community of people in Elk Grove, CA (and surrounding areas) getting to Know Jesus and making Him known to others. Not that any of us have mastered this, but we’re committed to learning what it means to follow Jesus daily. We’re finding that it means less of us and more of Him each day; and that it helps to be connected in community with others who are following Him as well. We’re also finding that we can’t do this genuinely unless we are committed to caring for people in need and helping them to find the hope that we have found in Christ! We are also part of a larger church community called The Church of the Nazarene that gathers throughout the world.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
In one God who has expressed Himself to us personally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Bible communicates God’s love to us and is the truth regarding all things including salvation through faith and how to live a life that is pleasing to Him.
The love and grace of God is extended to every person through what Jesus accomplished through His death and resurrection.
That in turning from ourselves and trusting Him, we experience a new life, being freed from the old patterns of self destructive acts called sin.
That unless we experience salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, our future is one of eternal separation from God and all that is good.
That all who live for Jesus Christ have an eternal future with Him.
WHAT WE VALUE
We believe we exist to love God and love people and to help others do the same.
Jesus Christ is the foundation and model (the Cornerstone) for how we love.
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, relevant Word for us, and that God uses His Word to radically transform lives.
“No Perfect People Allowed”
We offer an atmosphere of acceptance, believing that if God can love us…He can love anyone.
Children & Youth
We value children and youth and are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for them to grow in relationship with God and with each other.
We believe that God intends for us to journey together, to encourage one another, and to help each other grow in our love for Him.
